I love my yoga class!
Flexibility July 8th, 2008I have started taking a yoga/pilates class once a week in addition to my cardio and strength training regimen. After the first class, I was amazed at how much I was looking forward to the next one. I can’t quite put my finger on why it makes me feel so good, I think it is the emphasis on the mind-body connection. I feel so relaxed and re-energized afterwards. My favorite part, of course, is the 10 minute mediation at the end in corpse pose. I feel like I’m doing a much better job of rounding out and balancing my fitness training and also working on skills that elude me such as coordination and balance.

I know what you mean about the balance thing, it nice to achieve something that you previously were unable to do, no matter how much you tried. My training has recently taken on a yoga style.
